Teaser Tuesday: Daughter of Jerusalem [GIVEAWAY TOMORROW!!]

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:

  • Grab your current read
  • Open to a random page (or your current page)
  • Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
  • BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
  • Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

My teaser:
The Judean exploded into a defense of his province, but I stopped listening to the squabble. Instead I stood quietly, looking at the beauty that lay stretched out before me, praying in my heart that God would let me find happiness in this new place.

Title: Daughter of Jerusalem
Author: Joan Wolf
I'm giving away a copy of this book tomorrow. Make sure to come back to check out my review and enter to win!

  1. Anarchy destroyed Zion, and Rome stood ready to destroy anarchy...anytime...anywhere. Hadassah held her mother, tears blurring her eyes as she stroked the black hair back from her mother's gaunt, pale face.

"What if Rachelle was right about how the realities worked? Thomas might be the only true gateway between the realities, but if someone was aware of both realities, then both realities had potential to affect that person."
